What’s it like to work at Modelit?
2021 was a year of new beginnings for Modelit. We went through a rebranding process and, with that, we started our employee experience program. We know that our company's success depends on the knowledge, well-being, and growth of every member of our team.
We want everyone at Modelit to live our values—trust, team-oriented, reliability, commitment, strong communication, and forward-thinking. With this in mind, we work daily to ensure that our employee experience program reflects these values.
Committed to the journey
Working at Modelit is a journey that starts when someone joins our team. We have created and adopted several initiatives to achieve our purpose. Some members of our team shared what it's like to work at Modelit.
Viviana had been working as Salesforce Admin for 2-years until she recently joined our team. She explained to us why she decided to join Modelit: “Everyone is so kind. What made me decide to start at Modelit was my interview with Angelica, which was very relaxed and made me feel very comfortable. From day one, I felt very welcomed.”
Being strong communicators

It all starts on day one—the onboarding process and training are the first steps on this journey. During their first weeks at Modelit, each new member is guided by someone from our team to ensure that we support one another in every way we can. Mentoring is also essential for us, supporting employee development and progression. We have processes that help our new Modeliters to succeed at their work and to make them feel like they can rely on the team for guidance and support. Collaboration has always been our work method.
To add to that, regular feedback and performance reviews are fundamental. It’s important to encourage ongoing communication among every member of the team.

I’ve been in other companies, and I know that it's not always this way.” We’re proud to generate such positivity for our employees, and that everyone feels welcome to express their opinions and to ask for help when needed.
We couldn’t possibly be an extension of our client’s team without being strong communicators—and good communication is key to the success of our Employee Experience program. Gabriela joined our team at the beginning of the year, as a Marketing and Communication specialist to help us improve in that area of the company. We have been working on communications processes aligned with our values, to inform our team about what happens at Modelit.

Trusting in a forward-thinking model

We’re committed to empowering our employees and helping them to grow and thrive. We believe in giving opportunities to people who are interested in learning new skills and being part of the Salesforce Ecosystem. Several members of our team started at this company without previous experience or knowledge of Salesforce. Agustín, the latest addition to our team, told us: “I'm grateful to Modelit for allowing me to continue growing as a developer.”

We want our team to make the most of Salesforce and become certified experts. To fulfill that goal, we provide Salesforce certification for everyone—and it is aligned with our career path. Ana highlighted the trust that Modelit gave her: “They trusted me, even if I didn’t have previous experience, and funded my first Salesforce certification. I had the opportunity to learn about new technologies that I didn’t learn about at University.”
Culture as a top priority

Having culture as a top priority is fundamental in our ability to successfully adapt to rapid transformation with the current global situation. Adopting a hybrid working model is aligned with our employee experience as well. Emiliano has been working with us for 3-years and commented: "I like the hybrid working model, it's great! You can focus on being productive by finishing your tasks at home, but also the advantages of face-to-face communication and collaboration with our teammates at the office."
We recently moved to modern offices with a central location, offering different spaces to both work and relax. We encourage collaboration in our office, and with a co-working space exclusively for our team, staff members can enjoy a team-oriented environment.
Another aspect mentioned by our members was the team spirit. Sebastian said: “Team spirit and trust are some of the best things about working at Modelit.”
We have team-building activities every month, to enhance our culture and enjoy time together. We provide positive, fun ways for our employees to get together for personal and professional development activities, both within and outside normal company hours.
We created a Fun Activities Calendar where we host movie time, trivia, after office parties, and more. Fun office perks have been part of our culture for many years, but with the pandemic, we believe that it is even more important than ever to reconnect with the team. We want our employees to enjoy working at Modelit and to prioritize wellness and mental health.
We know we still have a long road ahead, but we’re happy with what we have achieved and how our team feels about working at Modelit. We’re still working on more ideas to improve our daily routine and to make life at Modelit an awesome experience.
